Choose from professional color schemes
The Kuler online community has grown by leaps and bounds, and contributed some eye-popping color themes along the way. When you need a little help with your site's color coordination, get the latest color schemes from Kuler, right in Dreamweaver with PalettePicker.Bring the hottest colors to you
Just like on the kuler site, you can view the Most Recent, Most Popular (most downloaded), or Highest Ranked color themes with PalettePicker. Just choose the desired option from the drop-down menu and your color themes are listed, 5 at a time. You can even choose Random for that extra bit of inspiration.Find the hues and hex values that speak to you
With PalettePicker, you can easily search for a specific color criteria. Search for a tag, hex value, creator's email address or title—or any of the above. Page through your results until you find just the one you want and sample away!Makes color the true universal language
PalettePicker works everywhere: with standard HTML pages or standalone CSS style sheets. PalettePicker is good to go for both designer and developer and works equally well in both Design and Code view. Great for static, dynamic, or templated pages, PalettePicker covers the spectrum.
Display the hottest colors
Want to see the hottest color schemes on the Web? Select one of the menu options in PalettePicker and get the results instantly. Results are shown in groups of 5 and you can easily page from one set to another. Choose from Most Recent, Highest Rated, Most Popular or Random – and let PalettePicker reveal the colorful options to you.Search for your exact color match
Use PalettePicker to hone in on your color selections. If you're looking for a particular theme, search for the keyword; if you've got one color that has to be there, search for a hex value. You can also search for colors published on Kuler by a particular member of the community, if you know his or her email address.
Sample from Design view
Once you've found the color theme you want to work with, integrating it into Dreamweaver is a snap. Click on any Dreamweaver color swatch to display the pop-up color picker—from the Property inspector, CSS Styles panel, or any extension like CSS Sculptor—and use the eyedropper to sample your background color, font color, border color or whatever you'd like.
Insert hex codes directly
If you're working in Code view and need to insert a hex value for the color displayed in PalettePicker, all it takes is a click. Just place your cursor in the proper position or select your existing hex value and click once on the desired color swatch in the Kuler panel. Instantly, your hex values are added to the page, whether you're restyling an embedded style in your HTML page or building up the external CSS style panel from scratch.
