These tools were once a stand-alone extension called Dynamic Dropdowns. Now they are integrated into our powerful Dreamweaver extension, Data Bridge.

Allow users to drill down with select lists

Dynamically connect dropdown lists to give your website visitors a way to drill down from a parent category to a child subcategory. This can be useful when your visitors need to narrow down a search (like finding an auto part for a specific car) or for when you want your user to select a topic category, then topic subcategory before a specific action can take place (like drilling down to a sub-forum before posting a forum thread). All data arrays are created when the page loads, allowing the lists to populate quickly.

Build user-controlled menu lists

You can also create user-controlled parent, child and target lists with this this tool. Server behaviors are built in to add all the button functionality you need to allow your users to manage their lists, including buttons for add to list, remove from list, select all, move up and move down.
