Using DataBridge with Bluehost and Failure to make database connection

I am trying to use DataBridge with Bluehost. I have no problem uploading files, but when I go to connect to my database on Bluehost I get a message: "The files from the _mmServerScripts folder are for the server model PHP-MySQL. You try to connect to a database using a different server model. I just spent 2 hours on the phone with Bluehost and they tried changing the PHP version to 7.0. Could this be a PHP or MySQL compatibility issue? I know I'm using the correct login information, so that is not the problem. Thanks. What should I do?
