should probably be:

$InsertQuery->bindColumn("duesAmtPaid", "i", $_POST["mc_gross"], "WA_DEFAULT");
$InsertQuery->bindColumn("duesStatus", "s", $_POST["payment_status"], "WA_DEFAULT");
