Here is the work flow I would suggest for installing PowerStore on the remote host and your local computer to make edits:
1) Upload the files to the remote host and run the installer.
2) After the installer has finished, set the privileges on the Connections/PowerStoreConnection.php file to read only. This step will prevent dreamweaver from overwriting the connection settings.
3) Create a new Dreamweaver site for PowerStore. On the testing server tab, configure it to use your local testing server.
Set the Remote Info section to use FTP to connect to the remote host and upload to the same directory you installed PowerStore to.
4) Extract the PowerStore files to the root of your Dreamweaver site, the run the installation wizard on your local computer.
You can now make changes in Dreamweaver, test them locally, then upload them to the live site.
