Frank Juskievitz had an accident in 1981 that left him with debilitating paralysis. As a C7 quadriplegic, his hands were greatly affected, but his arms were not fully paralyzed. The story of Frank JuskievitzFrank Juskievitz had an accident in 1981 that left him with debilitating paralysis. As a C7 quadriplegic, his hands were greatly affected, but his arms were not fully paralyzed. Frank eventually learned to adapt to his disability and was driven to begin a new career. He dabbled in web development, using Adobe Dreamweaver.
As Frank progressed into custom web development, the hand coding became challenging as it took 4 – 5 times longer to type than an able-bodied person. A colleague introduced him to our extensions, which provide wizards in Dreamweaver that accelerate website development and reduce hand coding. Frank inverts his mouse so that he can use the palm of his hand to make selections in these wizards. The wizards then generate the code for him, allowing him to offer a full range of custom web development services in a competitive industry.
Today, Frank is developing dynamic eCommerce websites and custom content management systems.
