Yes, it does maintain the WYSISYG view, BUT when you edit it, it reverts to the old code.

Thanks for the work around! I just got the code I used ("textarea_."$cnt1 ."") from the way iRite used to do it, but your idea works better.

I got frustrated with it though, and uninstalled html editor, and reinstalled iRite, until they get this fixed.
