Styling textarea of iRite editor

I have a site that I have developed and the background of the site is black. I want the editor to default to a black background and the text to white. How do I do that? I want to give the user who updates the look that it actually has on the site to avoid confusion.

You can search the forums to find specific examples of users doing this.

Look at the fckeditor web site: www.fckeditor.com it will have much more in depth discussion on the code underlying iRite.

Would updating FCK editor help

CMS shows that it is using FCK editor version 2.5.1.

The current version on the FCK site is 2.6.5. Would updating versions solve this formatting problem on record posts?

It is possible if it was a bug in that version that has been fixed. Updating should just mean replacing the /editor/ folder, so I suggest giving it a try to see.

I don't mean to entrap you, but are you confident that updating the FCK editor will not break the PowerCMS code or my iRite sites?

I've done it.... so I'm confident that it will work if you don't make any mistakes. It really should be simple, but always back up something that works in case you make a mistake.
