Error message

I'm getting this error when I try to open re-open a Universal Email.

I have attached a new version of the DocumentEncoding.js file. Please replace your current DocumentEncoding.js file with the attached file.

make sure to have dreamweaver closed and delete the cache file before restarting.

Did you delete the Dreamweaver Cache:
common_installation_issues.pdf

you say it made it worse? In what way is it worse? What are the issues you are experiencing after downloading the new JS file? Are there new error messages?

Yes jason i have deleted cache first thing i did before looking in the forums, before updating the js file i only had the msg after inserting the UE and when i clicked over it to do any change it displayed the msg, now im getting the same msg even to add a new UE so now i cant even insert a new UE on any page all the rest of the super suite works fine less the UE, i also try deleting the hole configuration folder and reistalled every extention or activeted them again with the same problem only with UE

Hello
I'm working on CS5 / XP3 and I have the same probleme. I patch the fix in the C:\Documents and Settings\Admin\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS5\en_US\Configuration\Shared\WebAssist directory but it doesn't change anything.

I also delet the WinFileCache-xxxxx.dat file.

PS I note the new DocumentEncoding.js make 9 ko and the previous made 17 ko.

This error is fixed in the HTMLEditor 3 Compatibility update that is available in the Form builder download page.

You should install the HTMLEditor 3 compatibility update to fix the issue.
