CSS Menu Writer not working proper

CSS Menu Writer not working proper

Hi,
After deleting the WinFileCache.dat file and reinstalling the extension I can at least insert a menu, but no properties appear. No matter where I click!

On the insert menu of Dream Weaver I only see written: " CSS Menu Writer" and in the manual I see all kinds of other menus but not on my 2 computers.

I have the Super Suite and this seems to be the only extension that doesn't work proper.

Any suggestions?

Thanks David

go to Edit -> Preferences. In the invisible elements section, make sure that Scripts is selected.

Under View -> Visual Aids, makes that Invisible elements is selected.

next to the menu on your page, there should be a script icon, click the script icon to have the edit options show in the property inspector. If the property inspector is not already open, go to Window -> Property Inspector

Thanks for that. That works. But now I have to go to preferences all the time to deactivate and activate the scripts radio button to let the symbol appear. Because if I don't do that it's not there.

you can leave it activated in the preferences panel, and toggle it by going to View -> Visual Aids and unchecking Invisible elements if you dont want it to appear all the time,

But you want to edit the menu, you will need to enable the scripts icon to show on the page.
