eCart - UPS Rate Request - Customer Class

In the checkout wizard for UPS rate request I am being asked what my "Customer Class" is.

I talked with UPS web tech support and they don't know what this is for and said this type of field is not required for a rate request.

It has 4 options in a select list:
None
Wholesale
Occassional Pickup
Retail

Any idea what I should put here? Does this field submit to UPS? If so...what is its purpose?

Thanks again!

Sounds like your UPS tech support guy didn't know much about their api.

You can search google and find the answer, that is what I did to find:

There are three different Pickup Type options that affect the live rates. Make sure to select the appropriate Pickup Type that you plan to use with UPS. The different types are:

* Daily Pickup - UPS is scheduled to come by everyday
* Occasional Pickup - you schedule a pick whenever neccesary
* Suggested Retail Rate (UPS Store) - You drop off your packages at a UPS drop off location
