red exclamation mark in server behaviors

red exclamation mark in server behaviors

According to the documentation you are able to use Universal Email to further customize the Contact Form. When I go to the server behaviors for the page there is a red exclamation mark by Universal Email(Mail for Linux). When I go to customize the page all the settings are lost and a new Universal email folder is created in the root. Why is this doing this and how do I customize the page that is in the solution pack without losing what is there?

I think you may have to install the latest version of Universal Email... what version do you have installed?

Also the solution packs get their content directly from an html page you can edit directly. Look in the UniversalEmail/EmailTemplates directory and just edit that page directly. It will be the email contents.

I have 3.0.5 installed. This is the latest as far as I know. Could this be because you went to just mail in this version and the contact form has Mail for Linux or Mail for Windows which UE does not support any more. It is fine that you can edit the html template, but the pdf says you can edit the contact form in UE. If it is needed I am running DW CS3 on windows xp.

I think that is the exact source of the problem. We will be coming out with a new version of the solution pack to get in synch with Universal Email soon.

Thank you for your quick response. Is there a time frame for this release?

No date, but it will be within a month. You can make the update yourself... just find and replace:

Mail_for_Linux_PHP
with
mail_PHP

and replace:

Mail for Linux
with
mail
