Theme color changes

I am begining using Powercart 45

In designs I am trying to change colors of various areas but cannot find the methods

I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction please?

I attach a picture showing the areas I would like to change and would like to know what drop downs to use to get area colors.
Please see pic.

Many thanks

John

what exactly are you trying to change?

the GlobalStyles -> Default -> Background will change the background color for the areas marked "Global Styles default" And "Area 4" in your picture.

Area 2 background can be changed by editing Home Page Pods -> Default -> Background. Area 3 by editing Home Page News -> Default -> Background

Thanks for the rapid response Jason.
I am trying to get to know how the design changes/colors occour. I this case I am using a color #de6ac1 to try to get a complete colorisation of the areas.

I must be going wrong somewhere as I dont seem to get the color complete fill in as expected.

I attach an image of the result modified to your instructions (I think)...

the site is at www.francoisbouttier.com

I notice if I publish nothing appears except an error message after a refresh F5

Warning: rename(../../themes/temp_editing/,../../themes/FB1/) [function.rename]: No such file or directory in /home/jh10/francoisbouttier.com/webassist/plugins/styler/styler.php on line 70

the default background color does not apply all elements, you will also need to set the background for the H1, H2, etc elements that are in the list under default.

Thanks Jason,

Are there any instructions or tutorials available which give details of these items so we dont need to ask?

Regards

John

all of the available documentation is on the Power Store Support page, if you dont see it covered there, then it does not exist.
