Need Help Hiding Address Bubble

Need Help Hiding Address Bubble

Hello!

I am also trying to remove the address bubble (infowindow) on our map as seen here: new/ (The map can be found in the area that drops down by clicking "CONTACT US" at the top right of the page.)

For some reason, however, every time I attempt to comment out the appropriate lines (per the instructions in other posts covering this topic), the map just disappears completely. Did something change in an update of Pro Maps that requires a different approach? Or, am I experiencing an anomaly? (Or, am I just losing it?) :-)

I've attached the php page for the map if you'd like to see it (though it is simply the output of the plug-in).

Thanks for your assistance!

Jeremy

edit the map instance, on the directions page, set the option to include driving directions.

this will hide the info window on page load.

Thanks Jason! That got rid of the address bubble.

Now, is there a way to have the map zoomed back in on the address pin (as it was before clicking "include directions")? (It is now showing A and B pins for "from" and "to" points.)

Kind regards,
Jeremy

in the directions, make sure to leave all of the address fields blank.

Yeah, they're all blank. But it is zoomed out to show both A and B pins on the map. It's like the map is pulling my location (as the "from" point - pin A) from my IP address or something, because I haven't given it any indication of my location. (I even tried logging out of my Google account, clearing my cache and cookies, etc.)

When you preview the page, is it showing an A and B pin (with A being your location)? I have no idea why it's doing this.

Thanks again,
Jeremy

please send a link where i can see the problem.

Sure! It's actually this link: new/

But, to see the map, you have to click "CONTACT US" at the top-right of the page. Then, the section with the map will be revealed.

I haven't made any edits to the PHP file itself (it is just what has been output from the Pro Maps plug-in), but I can upload that if needed.

Thanks,
Jeremy

I cannot reproduce the problem using Fire Fox, safari or Google Chrome

perhaps try clearing your browsers cache.
