add to cart name and size not listing in order display page

Hi,

I'm simply trying to get the name and color of our "T-shirts" to roll over and show in the order display page? please re-fresh my memory on how to accomplish this task, I've attached my cart file product and display pages.

You will need to add a column to your eCart to store the additional information and then you will be able to display that information as follow:

<?php echo $eCart1->DisplayInfo("NewColumn"); ?>

Once you added the columns, you will need to update the add to cart to store that information.

Thank you very much for your reply! I have added the columns that I need for "size" and "color". We've discovered that the cart is retrieving the first record from the database and not listing the list value from the drop down selection?

Thank you very much for the information. We are trying to pass the value from two list menus to the cart, bypassing posting via the recordset. As it stands right now, the information passing to the cart is the first record in the recordset. How do we get the list menu values to go into the cart? The link is: products.php (please see the first shirt, top left set up).

in the add to cart button behavior, set the size and color columns to be up datable from a select list, do not set an intial value though

after creating the add to cart button, populate the size and color select lists with the needed values.

In only one of the add to car buttons on your product page have you set the size and color columns to be updatable from the select list. And for that one item, the select lists have been moved outside of the add to cart button form, they are no longer a part of the form so will not be included when the add to cart button is pressed.


for all of the others, it looks like you added the select lists manually.
