have you re indexed your new domain with bing?

if i visit your site at:
www.bellezamedispa.co.za/

and search for "spa" i get one result.

if i visit bing.com and search for:

site:www.bellezamedispa.co.za spa

i get the same 1 result.

it doesn't seam like the www.bellezamedispa.co.za/ domain is properly indexed at bing.com.

No search results - how did you fix it?

Hi Neil,
I have had the same problem - I can never get any results. Bing shows that it has indexed my pages but the search always reports "found no results". I went to the bellezamedispa site and can see that your search now works. What did you do get it working?

Hope you can help. Not getting any responses from Webassist.

Thanks
Craig

Craig, What is your URL?

On your site pages, have you added meaningful content to the meta keywords and description tags? see our Search Optimization road map article here:
roadmap_02.php

for some tips on optimizing your sites for search engines to be able to effectively index it.

Hi Jason
Yes, this is my first post - I tried some time ago with a free ticket but I hadn't heard back. So thank you for replying.

OK - I checked again today and I am now getting one page for some of the keywords.

I understand about meta keywords and SEO meaningful content. I am in the process of rebuilding a client's site and so there is more work to be done here. But, a keyword across all the pages is "sales" and yet it only shows one page. I gather that Bing is a lot more dependent on the meta tags that Google. Now that I am getting some results I will see what happens if I have unique keywords and descriptions for each page.

the site is www.sales-assess.com and the testing search page (currrently not showing on site) is:search.php

Thanks for your response.

Yes, using unique keywords for each page is important on bing.

also, bing may take a little while to re index your site, the spiders may not reindex it for a little while after making changes.
