Universal Email & Attachments

In the dim and distant past I seem to recall there was a tutorial or forum help which detailed how to use digital file pro & universal email to construct a form with a browse field to allow for the upload and subsequent email of a file / attachment - I can't for the life of me find this now. Does anyone recall this if its in the forum archive can somone advice me how to access this as I appear to be being dim and can't find it.

Many thanks

Mark

I'm not sure if there is a tutorial, but all you need to do is use digital file pro to upload the image just like any other image with digital file pro, then add the server location as the attachment in the email.

In my application, from the Careers section of our website, I need to allow the client to attached their files to the email that will be sent to us. (Job Posting with CV). Would the same solution work? Are there detailed procedures available?

It should work, although there is something to be said for not attaching it to an email and just storing a local copy and linking to it, since you are uploading the file to your server anyway.

I don't have detailed instructions, but if you try I can probably give you a detailed description of any errors you might run into.

I've got an idea of how it should work i.e. using DFP create the form with the browse field and upload the file then jump to the email page with on load to send out the email with the name of the file stores in a variable passed to the universal email behaviour - I'll try it out today and post my thoughts - procedure when I'm done
