payment by checkout with paypal doesnt work

Hi,

I have been using a site created with powerstore4 for 3 months and customers have been transacting with cards with no problem however I have just realised that if a customer selects checkout with PayPal account rather than by card the button does not progress to the next stage and instead just refreshes back to the same page.

Please can you let me know how to fix this?

Thanks

I am also having problems with this. Although I am still on test mode. Currently still working on the site. Website address is www.labellabubble.com. If there is a fix, please let me know. Appreciate it.

Hi,

I previously sent you the below message and you logged on and had a look at the site and corrected something. This only seems to have partially fixed the issue as we are still getting occasional complaints from customers for two reasons:

1/. that when they click the paypal button it empties their basket and takes them back to the site and not onto paypal.

2/. The site appears to be charging some customers twice on paypal (2 transactions but only showing one in the powerstore cms)?

Please could you tell me how we can fix these two issues?

Thanks

Oliver

I'll need to troubleshoot directly, see the private message section.

one thing i notice strait off is that your site will redirect the addresses:
osgrow.com

or
www.osgrow.com

to
https://www.osgrow.com

but the address:
https://osgrow.com

does not redirect.

this is most likely the cause of the problem.

the cart is stored in a session, so if a customer starts browsing your site using the address:
https://osgrow.com

and then gets direxted to:
https://www.osgrow.com

it will be a new browsing session and cause the cart to be emtpy.

you can use an htaccess rule with mod rewrite to prevent this from happening:
