WA Validated Entries

Hi,
I remember there was something like a parameter that could be added if there was no "WA Validated Entries".
Wasnt it possible to choose an alternative entry?
Like: If there is no WA Validated Entry -> use -> Recordset
Cheers,
Denis

Hi Jason,
I red that threat, but I think I am sure that there was something like this from WA. Maybe in an earlier VTK version.
I remember it worked without using an URL parameter.
hmmmm...

no, it needs to use a URL parameter to know whether it should use the validated entries or recordset.

:-)

strange, I got it in my mind.

I will give it a try.

Will this be save: update.php?valid=false
it seems I need an other validation, that $valid is only letters, or not?

?valid=false is just the URL Variable you add to the validation fail to tell the page whether to use the validated entries or recordset.

http://localhero.de/test.php

When I enter wrong data it works.

But this happens: http://localhero.de/test.php?valid=false&valid=false

If you delete the @ and change the names

the failed redirect in the validation behacor does not include the valid=false url perameter.

when validation fails it returns to:
http://localhero.de/test.php

it should return to:
http://localhero.de/test.php?valid=false

Hi Jason,

now it seems to work, but doubles the valid

http://localhero.de/test.php?valid=false&valid=false&valid=false&valid=false

you most likely have the action of the form set to pass the URL variables that are passed in back out. Send a copy of the page.
