Newsgroup reader Instructions?

My logins with Entourage, my Newsgroup Reader, no longer works. Are there instructions somewhere?

Unfortunately we have not been able to integrate the new forums with newsgroup readers. We will be looking into the possibility of adding NNTP news reader support in the upcoming months.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Nice look with seperate forums for products but the current no NNTP is a huge downside.

I agree to about NNTP, its much more convenient... plus it won't make me look like I am surfing all the time in our web usage reports, as NNTP isn't covered.

They always call it "progress"

Anyone get tired of going through this? EVERY time they call it "progress."

This isn't just WebAssist, it's every company or group that has a forum. Once they've decided to change the forum to these packaged deals, a massive number of messages are lost and all that history that's been built up over years is discarded.

There is always "talk" about pulling in those old messages or bringing back features that were lost but they usually arn't because it's just too much work or technologically infeasible to do.

NNTP? Just another victim of the process. The really sad thing is that NNTP was something that worked well for users.

We were able to provide access to the old forum contents:

I'd prefer to use NNTP as well, but the fact of the matter is that few users do use NNTP, they just happen to be quite opinionated about NNTP. ;-)

Thanks

Wow, I stand corrected. Perhaps there is hope that we get NNTP.
