Eliminate public web site editing w/ HTML editor

How do I eliminate ALL editing from the public part of the web site? Which option is it in the admin menu/HTML editor? Thank you.

Even though I'm logged into the CMS, I don't want the edit option to show on the public part of the web site. Request from client. Not easily doable?

Ok, that makes more sense.

on each page, you will need to edit the code to add the content area, for example:

php:
<?php echo WA_getCMSContent($database_PowerCMSConnection$PowerCMSConnection'home''main_content'); ?>

and add a third parameter as false:

php:
<?php echo WA_getCMSContent($database_PowerCMSConnection$PowerCMSConnection'home''main_content',false); ?>

also remove the following code just before the </body> tag:

php:
<?php WA_manageSEO(); ?>

Thanks. I'm hoping to change his mind, but at least he has an option now if he insists. I'll keep this for future reference. Sorry to be so vague ... it's been "one of those days..."
