Order Applying DataAssist & SecurityAssist PHP webpage

I have an existing php working fine with DataAssist & SecurityAssist. Now I need a very similar page, same website, database, security and session requirements/session variables. I have updated to the most recent versions of the Webassist plug-ins including Cookies.

1. Can I simply duplicate the old page and edit as needed? I would prefer this as it is working and I have not been coding for a while.

2. Or if I need to recreate in which order should I setup DataAssist & SecurityAssist? I would assume DataAssist first and then add security for page access after it is working.

Sorry to ask such a simple question, but it is very important that I get this working.

CONFIGURED:
Dreamweaver CS3
PHP 5.4.7

1) it's posible to duplicate the old page, but you will need to make sure to edit the form action so that it posts to itself rather then to the old page.

2) if recreating the page, then yes, add data assist first, then security assist.

Database update record and redirect not working

I tried what you sugested above and got this far... On load that page correctly with no errors and displays the db table values. When the SAVE button is pressed, the db table update code does not work and the page reloads. The inital load of data confirms that it is connecting to the hosted database correctly. Details under Private Message.

I have tried for a few days editing and rewriting the DataAssist update code block but cannot get this page to work. I really need your assistance Jason. Please help.
