ISSSUE WITH ECART AND BLANK PAGE

We are facing an issue that after we checkout and select the merchant paypal direct as payment and enter the information the cart processes our credit card but it shows a blank page right after we enter the credit card info and we submit even though the credit card gets charged

a blank page means that a php error is occurring but error reporting is turned off.

to turn error reporting on, add the following code at line 1:

once we know what the error is, we will be able to troubleshoot the cause.

This is a php server issue.

The host should be able to update the php.ini file for you to set the default timezone to prevent that error from occurring. It happens if the default time zone is not set in the php.ini.

alternately, you can add the following code to the page to set the time zone:

it is best to have the host fix it in the php.ini file though so you don't keep running into it in other places.
