SSL certificate "obsolete"

SSL certificate "obsolete"

I have some customers concerned about this language in the certificate information on our mycafecommerce.com site.

"Your connection to xxxxxxx.mycafecommerce.com is encrypted with obsolete cryptography.

The connection uses TLS 1.0.

The connection is encrypted using AES_128_CBC, with SHA1 for message authentication and DHE_RSA as the key exchange mechanism".

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have not had any security problems but I would like to reassure our customers of the quality of the security.

If it can't be fixed, I did look into creating my own unique secure custom domain and therefore purchase our own SSL Certificate, but when I entered the URL of my company it returned "invalid_webid". So I am stuck there as well since I need it be the domain name which I own already.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

We are in the process of transferring cafecommerce to a new server. We should be able to correct this issue as part of that transfer. Please be patient and this should be updated in the next couple of weeks.

SSL certificate

Ray, My SSL certificate expires 10/1/15.
I'm getting renewal notices from Dreamhost. Is there a way I can buy it through you so you make the money?

Yes. You can purchase a new cert from us. You can purchase it directly from the webassist site if you want:
http://www.webassist.com/ssl-certificates

Then once you get the cert information I can get it installed for you.

What is your site URL? If you bought it from us in the first place (cafe commerce site purchases are through us) I can probably send you a renewal notice.

Hi Ray, my SSL expires soon these pics of the 3 week diet are great. If I buy from you while my current SSL is still active then which one will my site be using. Yours or my old one?

You will get a couple of extra months with your SSL purchase to cover the overlap. Once you upgrade to the newer SSL certificate the old one is no longer used and is removed from the site.
