Google Search not working

Hi There.

I have set up the Google search on the site that I'm developing but am struggling to get it to work. So thanks be to Jesus for creating people like you to help me.

This is the URL of the site that I'm busy with: http://www.royalstaple.com/royalstaple/index.php

I have entered a "Search engine ID" and also a "API key" through the Google Search tool from Webassist.

I have also indexed the pages of the website with custom search from Google: https://cse.google.com/cse/setup/basic?cx=014772272175231440889:ek2iqyzshfw

I want the site that I'm doing to work the 'same' as your site.
Can you please help me to get it to work.

Thank you for your help.
Daniel

Can I get FTP access? I can use that to debug and get the error message from the code. It is probably an issue with your google settings, but I can debug to get the exact error.

I can't seem to get in with that FTP information. Please test it and make sure that there are no typos.

Any other connection settings I need to use? It still isn't working for me. It seems to connect to the server and recognizes the username, but then gives and authorization failed error.

It appears I'm using the same information, but it isn't letting me in. Perhaps there are IP restrictions on the server blocking a connection from an outside source?

Same problem using the IP address. I just can't seem to connect.

If you .zip up the page and all of the include files I can take a look at it that way and try to walk you through debugging it on your own, but really the FTP access would speed things up.
