Database Connection Does not save in Insert Menu

hello, I am trying to add the PowerCMS to my page (I have done this many times), but now the Connections do not save.

I add the connection (giving it a name/etc.), put all the information, and even test the connection (and it tests successfully), then when I click ok, the connection does not appear in the list, which means I can't install PowerCMS.

I am getting the same result on both the "Add Content to PowerCMS" and "Insert Content From PowerCMS"

Do you have a php page from the same site open? Is it a standard MySQL connection? Does it appear when you try to create a Recordset?

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Thanks for the response. It was a standard PhP and MySQL connection. I tried t again yesterday and it worked (actually it showed the connection I previously entered but never displayed). Then I couldn't install the cms since it couldn't connect to your server for the check (I think they were down since your webpage was blank). But now it does seem to be working.

Not sure why the connection didn't save/display, but then all of a sudden was there when I did a computer restart, but luckily it is now working.
