SSL Certificate...

I completed the Checkout wizard, everything seems to be in working order except for the fact that i don't know if Authorize.net is getting the information. I have local checkout selected (AIM), testing on MAMP, mysql, phpmyadmin. I have several question that i hope you can answer:

1. Do I need to install the SSL certificate for the cart to work, even though the sites on a virtual server?

2- Is there a definitive guide I can follow for someone using Authorize.net (AIM)? I bought the cart because I have absolutely no clue how to build this properly...

3- When i go to test the cart, it doesn't go beyond the confirm page, i know its vague, but is that an indication its not going to Authorize.net?

Thanks for your help...

1.) You never need an ssl certificate for things to work... you need an ssl certificate to make sure your customer's information is secure.

2.) Follow the checkout wizard. It should do what you need.

3.) It is an indication that the local checkout trigger is not working. Look at your local checkout server behavior trigger. What is it set to? Change it to the button press event for the confirm button.
