Focus Color not activating

I set a different background color for when a test field gets focus, but it isn't working.

I did this in the Preset Manager.

It stays the same color as the initial state.

How do I force this to take effect?

Can you send a url of the page where you are doing this? I'll take a look and see what is wrong.

It looks like the focus color wasn't added to the css. It can be added manually pretty easily like:

form.PORC_PORC input.formTextfield_Large:focus, form.PORC_PORC input.formTextfield_Medium:focus, form.PORC_PORC input.formTextfield_Small:focus {
background-color:red;
}

I had set the focus color in the Form Edit Design module (see attached screenshot).

So why didn't it take?

Why do I have to do it manually?

I entered the code you suggested, but ut still doesn't work. (See attached css file)

The form builder css was referencing Spry classes that are no longer used.

I have fixed it in the extension. If you download and install the latest version, it should create the correct code now.
