option not showing in paypal

I used the ecart setup and added option, made it unique then went to calculations and added it to the last item on the end. Uploaded the files in ecart but it still doesn't show on the paypal page?? I must be missing something or am totally just lost.

I think paypal only shows the name and ID of the item. So you would have to append the option column to the name when passing it to paypal to make it show.

would I do that in the checkout wizard?

No, you would have to do it in the paypal server behaviors after running the wizard.

There should be server behaviors related to paypal I think on the pp_confirm.php page and the confirm.php page.

On confirm_cart.php on line 89-90 it looks like:

It can be updated to:
$WA_PP_ECO_Do_itemized[0][$nextIndex] = "Name" . strval($cartIndex+1) . "";
$WA_PP_ECO_Do_itemized[1][$nextIndex] = "".$eCart1->DisplayInfo("Name") ." : ".$eCart1->DisplayInfo("options") ."";

Then the same thing on pp_confirm.php on lines 100-101:
$WA_PP_ECO_Do_itemized[0][$nextIndex] = "Name" . strval($cartIndex+1) . "";
$WA_PP_ECO_Do_itemized[1][$nextIndex] = "".$eCart1->DisplayInfo("Name") ."";

is updated to:
$WA_PP_ECO_Do_itemized[0][$nextIndex] = "Name" . strval($cartIndex+1) . "";
