New Error - "Dreamweaver could not connect to the server. It's possible your SSL certificates are not installed properly"

New Error - "Dreamweaver could not connect to the server. It's possible your SSL certificates are not installed properly"

This is an odd new case. I added a DB connection for an existing site and it failed with the errors shown in the attachments.
I could use other prior sites to create DB connections and MySQLi Insert events from WA as expected.

All my server SSL Certs are installed and working fine. Does anyone know what Dreamweaver is checking to render this error?

Another test was to take a working site, duplicate it and then try the basic creation of a Connection. That failed and now on refresh of prior working sites, they are failing also.

And while my FTP connection works fine there is a new error pertaining to FTP connectivity from the WA Databases panel.

This is usually an issue with your Testing Server settings in Dreamweaver. Check the website URL setting and make sure it is set correctly. It may be missing https or www.

Nope that's not it...

So how does DW connect to a remote server? FTP... So I reviewed my servers FTP Program (FileZilla Server) and updated it to the latest version. Battled that for a few hours as things have changed since my original install. Finally got FTP working but, still the same case. Old sites work fine with the WA Extensions and connecting to the DB and showing tables.

Changed password on connection for MySQL. Nope.

I coded a test page that uses the same connection string and that works as shown but still the Extensions via DW can't load tables for this one site.
I'll play with it more tomorrow and see if I can figure out what's happening.

Maybe a file permissions issue... Nope not permissions.
Moved a working connection from one site to the problem site and same thing, no tables found.
Changed from real_connect( to mysqli( nope...

Tomorrow I'll continue.

Can you attach your dreamweaver site definition in the private area of a reply (with ftp credentials). I should be able to use that to reproduce the problem and figure out what is wrong.

Dreamweaver uploads files to the _mmServerScripts folder and uses the testing server credentials to ftp the files to the server. Then it uses the website URL to connect to the server. The issue is almost always the website url in the testing server.
