Is there a way to distinguish different numbers such as hat sizes or membership years when one person makes and order for multiple items?

Is there a way to distinguish different numbers such as hat sizes or membership years when one person makes and order for multiple items?

When a customer makes a purchase for multiple items within the same order with differing sizes like hats, when they check out only one of the hat sizes is retained. The other hats sizes don't show up. Is there a way to differentiate the hat sizes so that all of them show up? The same is true with our Continuous Service Pin. We have from 5 years to 50 years. So, if a single customer purchases multiple pins with different years, only the first year selected shows up. The only change recorded is the number of the items. The same is true for the hats. So, is there a way for the customer to make such purchases without having to make multiple orders for each item? Here's the link to the Hat and Pin pages:

Thanks in advance,

Are you adding the product options from a database or in Ecart? Have you took a look at these two tutorials for reference to make sure the options were added correctly. http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/Add-static-product-options-eCommerce-Series
http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/Add-dynamic-product-options-I-eCommerce-Series
Can you provide a little more info I did go to your site links you provided and saw the problem you are having.

Hey Jay,
I use static products for the whole store. Nothing ever really changes. When I first created the store, I tried the dynamic database route but it wouldn't take. So, WebAssist Support suggested the static route. Ray has been helping me for years keep it up to date. For the hats, if the end user purchases a hat with a specific hat size, say 7 1/2", it will show up when they add that item to the cart. But, if they go and purchase another hat with a different size, say 7 1/4", and add it to the cart, there isn't a way to distinguish between the two sizes. The cart just indicates that there are two hats. The same is true for the Continuous Service Pin. If the end user wants to purchase 5 pins with differing years, they have to clear the cart after each purchase so that the item is distinctly identified for the order. So, if there is a 5 year pin, a 10 year pin and a 20 year pin, only the first item selected (the 5 year pin) shows up in the cart. My boss wants to see if there is a way for the end user to make a multiple item purchase with different sizes or years.

I replied to your other question before reading this one.
Hello unfortunately Ray passed away at the end of 2023 read the post https://www.webassist.com/forums/posts.php?id=47097 the forums and help are now just up to the community members on these forums. I just develop sites and have been working with WebAssist software for years. Ray always helped me as well as others. So am trying to help out when I can. I have used ecart software for a long time and I am very familiar with it. I have always used it with databases never static. What you're asking about the sizes can absolutely be corrected and done. I went to your site and tried to add multiple products and saw the problem you're having when changing sizes. Can you attach you store pages code, removing all personal info so the community can have a look and try to help.

Hey Jay,
Thanks for your help, eh? Sorry to hear that Ray passed away. I was wondering why he didn't answer my support posts. Attached is the hats.php and the pins.php pages. I'm a newbee with databases, so the whole store is static. It's been working OK except for the distinguishing sizes part if the end user tries to make an order for more than one hat. Have a blessed day!
All the best,
Chaplain Dale
