Windows 7

Windows 7

I notice from your blog that you are now testing all the products with Windows 7 and that so far DW CS4 seems to run OK and that Sculptor 3 is OK. You also state that you don't expect any problems with the other extensions.

When we went through a similar scenario when CS4 was released, you put a page up that gave the progress of each product. Can you do something similar with Win 7? I think it might be beneficial to both current and future customers.

Just a thought.

Thank you for the suggestion.

Once we are done with some preliminary testing, we will put out an official announcement and possibly a page... however if everything works a chart might be overkill.

Or, you could go with my suggestion to friends and family when they ask me computer questions: just buy a Mac.:D

John,

I love it... now we know you have a fall-back option if this web stuff doesn't pan out. :D

Best regards,

Brian

How's the testing going? Is it possible to have a generalised update. The reason I ask is that I'm getting a new PC delivered next week and guess what the operating system is? That's right! Windows 7.

There's a rumor going around that Windows 7 is just a relabeled version of Windows ME so everything should work just fine. :)

I think I still have Win 95 somewhere so I should be OK :)

Time to upgrade to ME (Messed-up Edition). Wouldn't it be hard for a Web Developer to live without the TCP-IP protocol?
