Discount help

im trying to give the discount on certain brands in the cart.

example..

if the customer has a Microsoft laptop, Microsoft keyboard and a Apple laptop in their cart, it only discounts the Microsoft products.

i made a "brand" column that collects the brand name.

Thanks

Have you taken a look at the solution recipes in the eCart support page?

ecart/

There are tutorials on how to apply discounts in there. They may not be exactly what you are doing, but they will get you started on how to get the discount setup.

To add a discount for a specific brand, you will use the column and add a discount to your cart.

On the discount dialog, choose "Number of items with a specific column value" for the condition then fill in the relevant information to determine when the discount will be applied. For the Calculation section, choose "Based on multiple of column subtotal" and fill out the relevant information for the discount calculation there.
