When I view the page and the menu item mentioned I can see the submenu, then when I hover over certain elements there I can see the next level menu. From what I can see it looks like the second level sub menus items have a small gap between them and the first level sub menu items.

When I looked at the css I was able to make the gap disappear by setting adjusting the left setting for the ul#cssmw1 ul.level-2, I changed it from 111px to be 109px. Here is the setting:

menu.css (line 120)

ul#cssmw1 ul.level-2 {
left:109px;
}

Is this is issue you are seeing on your end, if not please explain a little more about the problem and what browser you are viewing this in.

similar spacing problem

to piggyback on the thread with a similar question, I'm new to the extension, just learning the interface. The problem is my level 2 menus on a horizontal drop down are too far left from the level one. I followed your fix in the css properties inspector, shortened the left setting and it worked. My question is how do I adjust this when i build the menu in the first place? I see no equivalent adjustment anywhere in the interface.

What you would need to adjust in the wizard to get it this way will depend on what you have done to the menu to customize it. If you can post back with some steps that you took to create the menu I can review them to see if I can determine where and when you should be making this change.

missing edit menu icon

Thanks very much for your reply and offer of assistance, I was intending to provide you the info you requested in order to assist me with my menu spacing problem when another issue arose. I opened the site/page in question and where there previously was a small icon at the end of the menu to access/open the menu editor now there is nothing, the drop down menu is there but no apparent way to edit it.

The small emblem that you see next to the menu is an invisible element that represents the script on the page. If you have the code on the page the same then the element should appear so long as invisible elements are enabled.

To check this go to Edit > Preferences > Invisible Elements. In here make sure that you have scripts checked. Also go to View > Visual Aids and ensure that invisible elements is checked here as well.

If you continue to have problems with this please post back with the page in question and we can take a look.

sub menu spacing issue

Eric

while we're trouble shooting menu issues. If I could come back to my original post on this thread. I'm including a screen capture of the menu in question. The issue is the space between categories and products, When i attempt to mouse from category to products the products menu vanishes. I'm assuming it's the distance between the 2 menus, if it's something else I'd love to know. Otherwise I'd love to know how to adjust that distance.

if i can provide any other info, please let me know.

thanks
