Is the page you are trying to add the Add to cart button saved to the same Dreamweaver Site as the previously created eCart object? The eCart object and the add to cart page must be members of the same Dreamweaver site.
yes is the same site & same page its as if the new version does not recognise that there is an ecart object there from the previous version that is why it is asking to insert an object first.
is the WA_eCart folder at the root of the site?
Is the new page you are adding the add to cart button to the same type of Dynamic page. In other words, if you created a PHP cart object, you will not be able to add it to an ASP page.
it is not only the same type of page it is an exisisting page that already had buy buttons on it already I want to add more buy buttons however it is stating I need to add an ecart object first its as if it does not reconise the previous version. please help
the problem I also think may be that the new operation system is windows 7 could this be why ecart is not recognising why there is already an ecart object there from the previous version.
