Import any website

The site import tool allows you to download any website by typing a website address (URL) into the wizard. You can configure many details of your import, including:

• Links to follow: current page, 1 - 5 levels deep or entire site
• Maximum number of pages to import
• Whether to follow dynamic links or ignore certain URL parameters
• Page file types to import (.htm, .php, .jpg, etc.)
• Whether to overwrite files if importing into a directory with files in it
• Whether to overwrite file extensions (i.e. .php) with another extension (i.e. .htm)
• Whether to download a Dreamweaver template if it's on the server - or you can also recreate a template if any of the imported pages were based off of a Dreamweaver template

The code is recreated the way a browser reads code, meaning you can capture real-time content from a dynamic page. Sure, you could view source in your browser, copy/paste code, download images and update paths to recreate a site, but this tool way will save you about a gazillion hours.

Thorough website reporting tool

You can report on any site, locally (with a localhost web server) or remotely (on a live web server). Configure what you want to report on, including details on imported templates, pages and media files. You can also report on broken links, missing alt tags, text and template usage. Many of our developers use this as a quick way to report on their own websites to get a glimpse of missing alt tags or other oversights.
