Add email opt in to your website

The user-friendly installation wizard helps you configure PowerMessenger on your server. Set up an administrator username and password and you will be ready to use the browser-based administrative website immediately.

Implement the pre-built registration form on your site to allow users to register and enroll in your mailing list. Manage CAPTCHA settings right in PowerMessenger to prevent spam registrations. A functional sign-in form is also included that you can add to your site for users who have registered. Select from four form designs or customize with the editor of your choice.

Subscribe button code is also available in PowerMessenger for adding to your site, blog, Facebook, etc.

Design your emails

PowerMessenger provides 100 email designs that you can use to create a custom email. You can also build your own email or use a web page.

From PowerMessenger, specify the name and email address the mailing should come from and add your email subject. Use the built in "tokens" to add dynamic information to your emails. Set up send delays if you don't want your mailing sent immediately.

Segment and manage your audience

With the advanced segmentation tools, you can add conditions to filter your audience and create an unlimited number of custom audience lists. Or of course, you can send mailings to your entire customer base.

Experienced developers can also use the SQL editing tool to create their own audience segmentation rules.

Although the registration forms allow your customers to automatically enroll and be added to your database, thus added to your active mailing audience, you can also enroll new users in PowerMessenger. You can update user details, delete users and chart user registration.

Report on click-through statistics

The statistics page displays open rates and click-through rates, as well as date/time emails were opened, to help you evaluate the success of your emails and plan for future emails.

Experienced developers can access more statistical data directly within the database, such as which specific links in your email were clicked.

Licensing

When you purchase PowerMessenger, you receive a single license to set up PowerMessenger on one live domain. The serial number can be activated on a testing domain (i.e. localhost) in addition to your live domain, allowing you to configure and customize your site prior to going live. We offer excellent multiple license discounting, as well. Details below.

PowerMessenger for Web Pros

There are no restrictions regarding the rebranding of PowerMessenger. Therefore, if you wish to utilize a different logo or branding throughout the application,  you may do so with the web editing software of your choice.

System requirements

Linux and Windows hosts are both supported.

Your server will need PHP 5.2.4 and a MySQL 4 or MySQL 5 database.

No coding experience or tools needed

PowerMessenger includes all of the pre-built pages that are ready to be uploaded to your web server. You do not need any coding knowledge, nor do you need Dreamweaver or any other WebAssist products.

While PowerMessenger requires a MySQL database to operate, you only need to create the database and have the credentials for accessing that database. PowerMessenger’s Installation Wizard will handle creating all the necessary database tables for you.
